Spring Style: Pastel Statement Necklaces

We like to think of a gorgeous statement necklace like the cherry on top of an amazing ice cream sundae. It can only get better. That is, your outfit. See how we’d style our new pastel necklaces.

It’s easy to go girly bubble-gum pastel when you thrown mint, which we adore for Spring, into the mix. That’s why our Mint Spring Leaf Resin Necklace is such a refreshing piece, with more subtle muted colors as accent stones. We love the color palette so much that we would repeat it in the outfit, which is all about a casual vibe.

When we’re going out with the girls, we want to pull out our trendiest, most editorial-worthy pieces. Our Lucite Spring Pretty Necklace and Turquoise Spring Floral Drop Earrings are a bold pairing, as standout pieces on their own, that will definitely impress.

You want to look appropriate in a professional setting, but stay true to your style. Jewelry pieces that don’t involve too many colors, patterns, or textures, but still have an element of fun like our Neon Pink Double Wrap Watch and White Frosted Pendant Necklace are our answer.

Pink is never a bad choice on occasions, like date night, when you’re going for feminine and pretty. Our Pastel Pink Bouquet Necklace is perfect whether you pair it with a lace top or a lace dress.

Which outfit resonates the most with your personal style?

Get the MET Gala Look!

There are a million reasons to be fascinated with celebrities, but one of the main reasons we envy them from afar is that they have far more occasions to get dressed up. We’d love to be able to wear lavish ball gowns and artful heels that would make Cinderella jealous at events like the MET Gala, which just took place.

Of course, we wouldn’t mind having the kind of options available that they do, access to vintage jewels and designer ateliers, but in the meanwhile, we’ll stick with emulating their inspiring style with our more reality-friendly priced pieces.

Allison Williams looked statuesque and elegant in a long coral dress and the interesting choice of gritty silver for her necklace really created an eye-catching juxtaposition. We’re a fan of the simple, yet detailed style, which is comparable to our Silver Luxe Braided Necklace.

Anna Kendrick was wearing small sparkly studs to accent her timeless black and white dress. We love that the earrings feel dainty, but bring enough shine to the table to stand out on their own. Our Crystal Ivy Studs are a steal that recreate the look.

Karoline Kurkova stunned everyone in her Marchesa gown, but we couldn’t help but be drawn to her gorgeous statement necklace. Like a work of art, she carried it perfectly. Our Crystal Glam Brooch Inspired Necklace promises the same wowing effect.

What were your favorite looks from the MET Gala?

Mother's Day on Our Mind

Who doesn’t love a good gift? Although moms will always say that you being there is more than enough for them, it never hurts to show “the world’s greatest mom” just how special she is on Mother’s day, which is just around the corner.

You can never go wrong with a classic gift like jewelry, but pairing pretty little gems with other small luxuries takes your gift to another level. Bonus: our gift ideas consist of items that are less than $50 each, that means less than $100 per pairing. Spend some time with mom and take her out for dinner with the extra cash.

Beautiful flowers are a treat that your mom won’t get for herself but will be delighted to receive. This bouquet evokes a pretty brightness that will set the tone for Spring in whatever room it’s placed. When the flowers fade, she’ll remember your thoughtfulness with our adorably sweet earrings. They’re gorgeous, but dainty enough to wear everyday. Plus they’re more than 75% off in our flash sale that ends tomorrow!

Bouquet: Red Envelope

Chocolates are nice, but we think gourmet caramels are a little more special. This boxed set looks scrumptious, and the caramels inside manage to taste even more swoon-worthy. Their interesting, evocative flavors will be a perfect way for mom to end a long day. Our beautifully subtle bangle is a light reminder of how much you love her and something she can wear everyday.

Chocolates: Chuao Chocolatier

Give mom a spa day in the comfort of her own home with this pampering set by L’Occitane. Shea butter is warm and nourishing, just like mom, something you might want to mention in your card to her! Our simple, yet touching necklace is also included in our Mother’s Day flash sale and will become her new favorite piece.

Sampler Set: L’Occitane

What to Wear: Beauty and Jewelry

We all know that beauty and fashion go hand in hand, so when it comes to accessorizing with glam jewels, the right makeup can give your look of the day that extra oomph to hit It-girl status, at least among your friends.

Proenza Schouler makes the most perfect cool-girl-but-not-trying-too-hard pieces that every stylist and blogger covets, which is exactly why we are so excited about their collaboration with MAC Cosmetics. This lipstick would look amazing with the new edgy gray version of our bestselling bracelet.

This mysteriously sophisticated eyeshadow palette is all we want to wear come Summer. Just imagine how gorgeous it would look next to a sun-kissed complexion! Our glammed up earrings are luxurious like a beach vacation in Ibiza, but don’t take themselves too seriously with pops of fun turquoise.

Eyeshadow Palette: Dior

Wearing rings is going to cast attention to your nail color and vice versa, whether you like it or not. You might as well go with the flow and play it up with a bright coral polish and bejeweled statement rings. We love this combination from our newest arrivals!

Nail Polish: Julep
