I can't believe there is only one ONE WEEK left until Christmas! (My how time flies...)
Around the holidays, I seem to have trouble choosing what to wear to holiday parties and events. I don't like to seem too clichè & end up piling on the sequins that results in looking like a disco-ball. But I also don't want to be too literal either...AKA the awful Christmas sweater! (Unless of course if you're attending an ugly christmas sweater party...then by all means, wear away!)
For this years party-look inspiration, I decided to turn to Hollywood for help!
Here are my top 5 celeb party styles that are perfect as inspiration for any & all of the holiday festivities you may attend!
I've been noticing a futuristic feel this winter season and am LOVING Kate Bosworth's take on the trend! A structured and angular dress is interesting and unexpected. Not to mention, how perfect does this look in the shade of winter white? Also, obsessed with the black heel for another pop of edge!
Props to Kristen Stewarts stylist...she has been looking UNREAL lately. I can't get over her in this black & white graphic Louis Vuitton playsuit! Considering a playsuit like this is a fun switch up to a classic cocktail dress for a holiday party & can easily be paired with tights if you're dealing with chilly weather!
Nicole Riche is a huge style icon for me. Her boho-chic vibe is always done impeccably! She nailed it (once again) in this AMAZING Lorena Sarbu gown. This look is totally channeling The Great Gatsby & old Hollywood glamour which I think couldn't be more on-point for holiday! Bravo, Nicole!
Feeling on the sexier side this season? Looks like Amanda Seyfried is! Visible corsetry is one of my all time favorite trends this season! It adds just enough detail to the simplest of dresses & will easily heat up your holiday party! When I saw this red & white look from Prabal Gurung, I couldn't help but think of a candy-striper (how festive). I'd rock this trend by marrying a lacey, feminine-detailed corset top with a pair of drop-crotch trouser pants & pumps for a funky, soiree ensemble!
Last but most certainly not least, Olivia Palermo in Tibi & Bird by Juicy Couture. (She can truly do no wrong in my eyes...) A black pencil skirt is a staple piece and something you probably already have in your wardrobe! Just pair that with a festive blouse & accent clutch for a classic celebration look. This whole outfit would be superb for a family &/or office party!
Which one of these looks was your favorite?
Will you try any of these for your own holiday parties/events?
Merry Styling & Happy Holidays!
